SUITED

October 2, 2016

I got to work on a slightly different shoot in Manchester last week. I got asked to style a shoot for J'adore Modelling Agency Manchester styling one of their guy models called Elliot. The shoot was a "suited and booted" shoot, I work mainly in high street and streetwear fashion so working with suits was definitely a new challenge. Next kindly lent me some super stunning suits for the shoot, I choose one Khaki Green Skinny Fit Suit which was the perfect look for daywear and one all Black Skinny Fit Dinner Suit for that evening look. I teamed the Khaki Green Suit with a White Shirt and no Tie, it definitely made the suit look a lot more comfortable and casual for everyday wear. I choose a Black Shirt for the all Black suit because firstly I love Black on Black outfits and secondly it made the suit look smart but also more wearable. I felt a white shirt with this Black Dinner suit would make this look more like a waiter. I choose some Black Loafers that suited both outfits, I went to a wedding in Italy last summer and the groomsmen's wore Brown Loafers with their suits, they made them look a lot more summery and casual. Loafers with suits always look better without any socks, again it makes the suit look a lot more summery.

If you wanted to go for a smarter look both of the suits come with matching waistcoats and look great with a slim tie, all available at Next.
